The HTC?s One range of phones and Samsung?s Galaxy series of phones are selling incredibly well in the market. Let?s compare the top giants of each series right now, the HTC One X and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. In terms of design, both the HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy Nexus look nearly identical with its candy bar phone and massive screen. The screen size on the One X is 4.7 inch with a Super LCD display covered in Gorilla glass. The Nexus comes with a 4.65 inch Super AMOLED touch screen with an oleo phobic coating. The feel of the phones in use is exceptional. Great for viewing videos and playing games. Both the phones run on an Android v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The One X is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad core Tegra 3 processor and the Nexus is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core OMAP processor. Both processors currently top of its class. Easy decision: Better camera or faster (and guaranteed) updates The One X comes with an 8.0 mega pixel camera with autofocus, LED flash, geo tagging, and bi sensors. The Nexus comes with a 5.0 mega pixel camera with autofocus and LED flash. Both phones feature a secondary 1.3-megapixel camera for video calling and full HD video recording. The One X has 32GB of internal memory while the Galaxy Nexus has 16GB of internal storage space. Both come with a 1 GB RAM, 3G, EDGE, HSDPA, Wi-Fi enabled and has Bluetooth. Now there are a couple of important things to note. While the HTC One X does seem to be ahead of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus on paper, there are a couple of limitations. For one, the HTC One X comes with Android 4.0 but has a HTC Sense overlay. HTC Sense has come other a lot of criticism lately for being bloated and also hindering future Android updates, something HTC acknowledged themselves. Secondly, the HTC One X and its quad-core processor does sound better than the dual-core in the Galaxy Nexus, but HTC will be swapping the quad-core for a dual-core Snapdragon S4 on AT&T here in the US to make it compatible with 4G LTE (Tegra 3 quad-core chip currently doesn?t play nice with LTE). Of course, the HTC One X has a better camera which boasts a capture speed that is faster than the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. It also features an LCD display which many folks prefer over AMOLED screens. So if you are a after a good camera, then the HTC One X wins hands down. If faster updates is a priority, then the Samsung Galaxy Nexus cannot be beat.More source:
