If a home within a gated community is something that interests you and you are moving to the Phoenix area and planning to live in the east valley then you are in for a real treat. Although most areas of Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe and Mesa are safe communities we still have many choices with homes that are situated within a gated community. Temps is famous for being so close to everything and includes ASU, freeway access and Phoenix Sky Harbor which is why many people move or stay within Tempe but finding a gated community is not always so easy. Gated communities are popular in Tempe especially some wonderful condo communities which are very popular with students attending ASU. Villagio is one such popular ASU condo communities. Single family homes in Coventry or Alisanos are a couple of extremely popular gated communities. Staying in the heart of Tempe and all that this area has to offer is not so much a secret as most people are well versed on Tempe.If living in Chandler is more your type of city then your choices of gated communities is opened up to many different delightful neighborhoods. Chandler is well known for its expanded area and so many wonderful choices which include retirement areas that are gated, townhomes and single family communities. For the retiree or middle aged individuals without young children there are gated golf communities in south Chandler. Sun Lakes although is not a city within a city is very popular with the winter visitors and retirees. Oakwood and Ironwood are among these gated communities in Sun Lakes. Sunbird, Springfield Lakes and Solera are a few other gated fifty five plus developments.Ocotillo is fast becoming one of Chandlers most popular areas to live for all types of people from winter visitors to families and young adults. With its lush greenery, golf courses wonderful shopping and restaurants as well as many water properties and features no wonder this is such a gorgeous, popular area of Chandler. Ocotillo Lakes has many individual gated communities within it large community like Winward, Catalina Shores and Laguna Cove are just a few. Chandler has some great gated communities that are priced on the higher end like Circle G, Whitewing and Embarcadero. Seville in Gilbert is an entire master planned community with several different builders and many gated neighborhoods within this master planned community. Seville is a very popular spot for many people with its wonderful clubhouse, golfing, retirement areas, family neighborhoods and homes prices from mid range to the more luxury side of life. Other popular Gilbert neighborhoods that have some gated communities comes Val Vista Lakes and The Islands. So many people are insistent on living in one of these neighborhoods but for good reason.
