After the Penn State scandal, the topic of ?values? was rampant. What are Penn State?s values, and how are students and staff held accountable for them?
Penn State does have a set of principles that outlines desired behaviors. But with no accountability attached.
In contrast, Brigham Young University states that students must behave in alignment with the school Honor Code, on and off campus.
Lesson: Be clear about what a good corporate citizen looks, acts and sounds like. Make alignment mandatory.
